Yodo 7.5" Stainless Steel Santoku Knife 三徳包丁
The Yodo 7.5" Santoku Knife blends Japanese-inspired craftsmanship with modern AUS10 stainless steel performance, designed to bring professional precision and elegance to every kitchen.
AUS10 Stainless Steel Blade
Forged from premium AUS10 stainless steel, the blade offers a perfect balance of hardness, toughness and long-lasting edge retention. Honed to a fine 15° cutting angle, it delivers razor-sharp precision for slicing vegetables, meats and fish with ease. The subtle hammered finish helps reduce drag and keeps ingredients from sticking, allowing each cut to glide smoothly.
Mkuruti Wood Handle
Crafted from richly grained Mkuruti wood, the handle brings natural warmth and exceptional durability. Its octagonal profile provides a secure, comfortable grip and perfect balance, ensuring control and confidence even during long prep sessions.
Effortless Culinary Performance
Ideal for chopping, dicing and mincing, the Yodo Santoku is perfectly weighted for clean, efficient cuts. Its broad blade also makes scooping and transferring ingredients simple and precise.
Timeless Craftsmanship
Combining the strength of AUS10 steel with the natural beauty of Mkuruti wood, the Yodo 7.5" Santoku Knife is both a functional tool and a statement of refined culinary artistry.

Step 1, Rinse
Warm water and mild soap after each use. Never put your knife in the dishwasher, the harsh detergents and jostling will damage the edge and handle.
Step 2, Dry
Towel dry immediately. Don't leave it wet or in the sink, even stainless steel can develop spots if left damp.
Step 3, Store
Use a knife block, magnetic strip, or blade guard. Never toss it loose in a drawer, it dulls the edge and is a safety hazard.
That's it, no special maintenance, no fussy rituals. Your Shimeru knife is designed for daily use. With these three steps it'll stay razor-sharp for years.
its ok i suppose. edge came sharp enough and the steel feels decent quality, but for 55 quid i expected a bit more. the handle is a bit plain and the knife overall feels a touch light in my hand, makes it feel less premium than the photos suggest. been using it a couple weeks and it holds its edge alright but nothing special. my old victorinox does just as good a job on veg. not a bad knife just not really worth the upgrade
bought this for me dad’s birthday and hes chuffed to bits. the finish on the blade is proper nice with that hammered pattern, stuff doesnt stick to it when youre slicing spuds. used it on a sunday roast, carving the chicken was a dream. deadly sharp out the box too, ive got a shun and honestly this feels just as good for half the price. might nick it when he’s not looking
Ok so I've had this knife about a month and its a proper workhorse. I was a bit unsure about the lighter weight compared to my old Wusthof but honestly its so much easier to control. sharpened it once just to see what it could take and its come back like a laser. used it for finely dicing shallots the other day and it was a doddle, no tears. the hammered finish genuinely helps with food not sticking which I thought was a gimmick but nah its legit. only thing I'd mention is the handle is a bit slimmer than I'm used to but my hands are on the smaller side so it works nicely for me.
got this santoku for me birthday off the missus and I'm well impressed. been using it daily for a fortnight now, the edge is still banging. cuts through chicken like butter and the flat profile is spot on for veg. doesn't collect crud on the blade either which is a nice touch. best fifty quid I've ever spent on kitchen gear.
Been using this for a couple months now and its held up well. The blade is still sharp and the balance is decent. Ive knocked a star off because the handle is a bit slippery when wet but nothing a quick wipe cant fix. Overall a solid buy for the price.
So I've been using this for about a month now and Im properly impressed. The AUS10 steel holds its edge way better than my old Victorinox. Chopping herbs is a dream with that flat profile. Only thing is it makes me realise how blunt my other knives are.
Got this as a birthday present for my husband and he hasn't shut up about it since. Says its the best knife hes ever owned and he's had loads over the years. The handle feels really nice in the hand apparently. Arrived in a lovely box too so that was a bonus.
Cant believe how sharp this thing is. Straight out the box it sliced through tomatoes like they were nothing. The handle shape is comfortable for my medium sized hands. Definitely replacing my old knives with more from this brand.
Lovely knife for the price. The hammered finish is nice to look at and actually helps with sticky stuff like potatoes. Came well packaged and sharp as hell. My only gripe is I wish I'd bought it sooner.
Good quality santoku for the money. The blade is sharp and stays sharp so far. My only wish is the handle was a bit longer as my hands are quite big. Still does the job well though and I'm happy with the purchase.
