Teshio 7″ Damascus Steel Santoku Knife 三徳包丁
Made to a Shimeru custom design we present the Teshio Santoku. We have contracted the best commercial maker in Niigata to produce this knife made of 69 Layer hammer beaten Damascus blades to suit the needs of the typical Western kitchen which often has users that utilise a more European method to cut – using force rather than edge length.
The cold-forged blade is tough, hard and easy to look after. Combined with a comfortable, ergonomic Pakkawood handle.
This is the classic Japanese chef’s knife. It is flat from the handle end for about ½ way to the tip and then gently curves to a point. It is ideal for straight vertical chopping, horizontal slicing and roll cutting.
Function – Multi-purpose chef knife. For Slicing, Dicing and Mincing of vegetables, meat and fish.
Available with optional sheath.
